What Happens After Your Wedding: From Raw Footage to Final Delivery

The band stops, the guests fly home, and everyone asks the same question: "When do we get the photos?" Here is an honest, behind-the-scenes look at everything that happens between your last ritual and your final delivery — because when you know the process, the wait makes sense.

Step 1: Backup and ingestion

Within a day of the wedding, every card from every camera is copied, verified and backed up in multiple places before anything is cleared. Nothing gets formatted until at least two independent copies exist. Boring? Yes. Non-negotiable? Absolutely.

Step 2: Culling — from thousands to the selects

A single wedding day produces thousands of raw frames across multiple photographers. Culling is where we remove blinks, duplicates and weak frames, and build the true story of your day. It is slow, deliberate work that no batch tool can do well.

Step 3: Colour, tone and retouch

Next, the selects go through colour correction and grading so every image — from every camera, every venue, every kind of light — looks like it belongs to one story. Skin tones stay natural, ceremonies stay true to how they felt, and portraits get the finishing touches that make them album-ready.

Step 4: Your private review portal

You do not wait blindly. We open your edited gallery in a private portal where you view every photo, leave comments on individual images, and request the changes you want — a full revision round is built into every package. The same transparency applies to your films: you see the edit, you comment, we refine.

Step 5: Final delivery

Once your revisions are done, your final galleries and download links are delivered organised and ready to share — and you get a WhatsApp update at every stage along the way, from editing started to review link to changes ready. You always know exactly where your memories are.

How long should all of this take?

Quality post-production is measured in weeks, not days — culling, grading, film editing and a full client revision round simply cannot be rushed without showing. Studios promising 48-hour delivery are almost always skipping the steps above. When we commit to a delivery date, that date already includes your review round.

Booking your wedding? Ask us about our delivery timeline — we will show you the exact process your photos and films will go through. Magic. Manifest. Memories.
